A proud Clio High School alumna from the Class of 2018, Sydney is excited to return to her hometown and begin her teaching career at Clio Area Schools. She earned her K–8 Elementary Education degree with a specialization in English as a Second Language from Saginaw Valley State University and later completed her Master's Degree in Literacy through the American College of Education. Before joining Clio, Sydney spent the past three years teaching in Birch Run.
Sydney is passionate about creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences that meet the needs of every learner. She is especially excited to bring her Sustainability Fellowship from the University of Michigan to Clio, where her students will participate in Place-Based Learning that connects classroom learning to real-world experiences while making a positive impact on the local environment.
Outside the classroom, Sydney is an avid reader who enjoys realistic fiction and mystery novels. She loves spending time walking her dog, Lucy, golfing with her husband, crafting with friends and family, cheering on the Detroit Tigers, and supporting all things Michigan.
Please join us in welcoming Sydney Webb back home to Clio Area Schools! We are excited to have her enthusiasm, passion for literacy, and commitment to student success as part of the Clio Intermediate School team.

One of the easiest ways you can support your child and every student in Clio Area Schools is by completing the 2026-2027 Educational Benefit Form.
⏱️ It takes less than 5 minutes
✅ Only one form per family
🎯 Our goal is 100% family participation
Even if you don't think your family qualifies for benefits, please complete the form. Every completed form matters.

📚 Reading and math intervention programs
👩🏫 Title and at-risk educational funding
🎒 School supplies and school fee assistance
🚌 Field trip support
🥫 Food assistance programs
🎁 Holiday support programs
🌐 Potential household internet and cable assistance

Out of an abundance of caution, we went into secure mode this morning to address a concern that was brought forward by a student. Student safety is always our top priority. Everything was fine and we are back to our regular school day. feel free to contact me at (810) 591-7652, or jamccallum@clioschools.org if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Mrs. McCallum
This activity was a wonderful way for our students to give back to the community, brighten someone’s day, and celebrate the season. It’s always special to see the smiles and joy that simple acts of kindness can bring!
